EastEnders confirms two major Zoe Slater baby revelations in early BBC iPlayer release

EastEnders has shocked viewers by revealing the identity of Zoe Slater’s twins’ father and confirming that her supposedly deceased daughter is actually alive and living in Albert Square.

Remember that shocking episode from the summer? It revealed Zoe gave birth to twins in 2006. She arranged for her son to be adopted and then left the hospital without knowing what happened to her critically ill daughter.

In a cruel scheme, she lied to Sharon Watts, claiming Dennis Rickman was the father of her baby. She hoped Sharon would spend money hiring a private investigator to find the child.

Sharon quickly hired a private investigator, hoping to find clues about her late husband, Dennis. But the investigation didn’t last long, as the truth came to light and the PI was no longer needed.

The search has taken a backseat to a troubling situation: someone is relentlessly harassing Zoe. This person has defaced photos of her, posted negative reviews about The Queen Vic online, and sent threatening messages through Christmas cards.

The Slaters were unsure of what to do, so Zoe turned to her ex-boyfriend, Anthony Trueman (Nicholas Bailey), for help. However, she didn’t know he was becoming dangerously fixated on her, and he was secretly looking at old photos of her on his computer.

Today, he visited Walford General Hospital to see someone he knew who was applying for a position at the Panesar House Surgery. He offered to help with her job application if she could get him medical records for one of his patients.

The woman showed him several documents, which he quickly verified were Zoe’s. After checking the babies’ birth dates, Anthony realized he was their father.

The documents revealed another fascinating detail: Zoe’s baby daughter had been revived after birth and then given up for adoption. But no one seems to know where she is now.

Meanwhile, across town in Walford, Jasmine Fisher (Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness) was taken to the police station because authorities suspected she might be involved with the people who attacked Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins).

The officers were puzzled by the ‘unknown’ designation for her parents, and she explained she was adopted. She’d recently moved to East London hoping to find her birth mother, Zoe Slater.

There’s now just one more piece of the puzzle left to find – Jasmine’s twin brother.

How will Zoe react when she learns that her daughter is still alive?
