Wherever Chrissie Watts (Tracy-Ann Oberman) goes in EastEnders, trouble will follow.
Today’s episode saw the return of a major villain, who was brought back to Walford by Jake Moon hoping she could shed light on how Anthony Trueman died.
As many viewers remember, she showed up back in town just before he died, and it was discovered she was the one bullying Zoe Slater (played by Michelle Ryan).
After Zoe was imprisoned for the crime, her mother, Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace), firmly believed that Chrissie must have set her up.
Actually, that’s not what happened at all. The real killer is Jasmine Fisher, played by Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness.

Jake and Chrissie met in the park, and Jake wondered if she had truly changed. He needed her to be completely honest if they were going to stay together, specifically, he wanted her to confess to killing Anthony.
Chrissie was shocked by the accusation that she was keeping secrets and firmly denied even knowing Anthony, let alone having anything to do with his disappearance.

Kat wasn’t satisfied and threw herself onto the hood of Chrissie’s car, determined to get a real answer. Chrissie started to cry and pretended to be hurt by the claims, which eventually convinced Kat to get off the road.
However, as she complied, the vehicle sped off into the distance.
It looked hopeless for Zoe, but then Chrissie and Jake arrived at The Queen Vic and got a drink. She still had to explain her side of the story and convince them to help.

Kat was shocked to find Chrissie in the upstairs living area, and they quickly started arguing. They both poured themselves some wine and decided to finally confront each other and resolve their issues.
Kat suddenly realized things didn’t add up. Chrissie admitted she’d been concentrating on the wrong person and had overlooked what was obvious all along.
Chrissie explained that she may have a “dark heart”, but it’s nothing in comparison to Jasmine!
Kat was completely shocked to discover her granddaughter had been controlling and deceiving everyone.
What will Kat do with this information?
