Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) is devastated, as her worries about her partner Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) have come true in a recent, upsetting episode of EastEnders.
She was shocked yesterday to see him drive away with Mark Fowler (Stephen Aaron-Sipple) as his passenger. Ravi knew Mark was being pressured to reveal that he was working as a police informant for a London drug gang.
Priya knew what was happening, but even though she tried to mislead Mark, he didn’t believe her.
Earlier that day, he’d bluntly told Ravi that he had to put the “rat’s head on a platter”.
Okay, so the scene unfolded at Walford Common, with these two guys heading into the woods for a showdown. For a second, Mark thought he might be working with Jack Branning, potentially feeding him intel on the gang. But then Ravi started listing all these crimes he hadn’t been caught for, basically trying to prove he wasn’t a snitch. It was a tense moment, trying to figure out who was telling the truth.

Ravi challenged Mark to a fatal fight when he discovered Mark hadn’t received a weapon for the task. This was Mark’s chance to demonstrate his loyalty to the gang and protect his sister, Vicki (Alice Haig), from harm.
Back in Albert Square, Priya frantically searched for Vicki and her fiancé, Ross Marshall, hoping they could help end the current crisis. Vicki was shocked by what she learned and immediately went to Phil Mitchell for explanations.

Sadly, Phil confirmed what Mark was entwined in, and the group were forced to rush to the woodland.
Ravi was on the ground, badly hurt and crying, while Mark loomed over him holding a tree branch. Mark seemed to be encouraging him to finish something, but Vicki arrived just in time and pulled her brother away.
Mark was furious and kept coming at Ravi, so Phil had to intervene and calm things down.

Back at the Square, Vicki assured Priya she would do everything she could to stop Mark from hurting Ravi, even if it put her in danger. While it didn’t guarantee the situation would be resolved, Priya felt a little better knowing she might finally have time to support her partner’s emotional well-being.
When she returned home, she discovered things were much more serious than she’d initially believed. While tending to Ravi’s injuries, she found scars suggesting he had been hurting himself.
Will he agree to get the help he needs?

As a total soap fan, I follow Michael Adams’ work at TopMob religiously. He’s their Soaps Editor, which basically means he knows everything that’s happening in all the big shows – from the drama in Weatherfield (that’s Coronation Street for those who don’t know!) to Walford, Emmerdale, and Hollyoaks. Before TopMob, he was a Soaps Reporter at Metro for a couple of years, and get this – he actually worked on the sets of both Corrie and Emmerdale! So he’s definitely got the inside scoop.
