Jasmine Fisher (Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness) is EastEnders’ biggest enigma.
Although she arrived in September, her motives remain a mystery. She hasn’t yet provided Elaine Peacock, the Prince Albert’s manager, with the necessary work paperwork, and she’s been curiously focused on Cindy Beale’s history.
A major turning point came when Jasmine was hit by Nigel Bates (Paul Bradley) while he was driving his Morris Minor.
Lying on the ground, she whispered, ‘I refuse to end like this.’ She blamed someone else for everything, and vowed they would face consequences for their actions.

Nigel had written this down in his notebook and, after hearing Elaine and Cindy talk about Jasmine on tonight’s show, he decided to share it.
This made Cindy suspect her employee wasn’t being truthful. Earlier, the employee had become visibly upset when HMRC said her national insurance number didn’t correspond to the name on file.
Could she be using a different moniker?
Inspired by what Nigel said, Cindy rushed over to talk to her daughter-in-law, Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa). Lauren had discovered Dr. Anthony Trueman’s (Nicholas Bailey) work keys and ID badge with Jasmine, and Jasmine couldn’t explain why she had them.
She’d also left her phone – with Cindy and Lauren taking the opportunity to reach out to her mum.
Everyone was shocked when Jasmine’s mother, Anita, revealed that Jasmine had a troubling side and couldn’t be trusted to live with her. Anita also mentioned Jasmine’s father came from a difficult background, leaving Cindy worried about what that meant.

Okay, so right away, the film throws you a curveball. It quickly becomes clear that Jasmine’s father isn’t just anyone – he’s connected to the Fords, a seriously dangerous criminal family. And this isn’t some distant history; they were the people who came after me back in the late 90s, forcing me to disappear and build a whole new life under an assumed identity. It’s a personal connection that immediately raises the stakes and explains a lot about why I’m so wary.
Cindy found Jasmine sitting on the stairs outside the bar and approached her to talk. Jasmine was furious that Cindy had contacted Anita without telling her, and she pushed Cindy, causing her to fall down the stairs.
Is this the confirmation Cindy needed?
