Before the significant EastEnders episode airing this week, where fans can finally witness Kat and Zoe Slater reuniting, it’s worth mentioning there will be an adjustment in the program’s regular broadcast timetable.
Instead of the typical early release on BBC iPlayer, I’ll find myself watching the EastEnders episode scheduled for Wednesday, 3rd September simultaneously. That’s right, it will be available on both iPlayer and BBC One at exactly 7:30 pm.
The postponement could stretch your wait a bit more than anticipated, yet it provides an opportunity for you all to simultaneously witness Zoe’s comeback, an event that BBC has labeled “explosive” and is rumored to cause seismic ripples in Walford.
Ben Wadey, the executive producer of EastEnders, announced in a statement: “As Zoe returns to Walford dramatically next week, several secrets from her past will be revealed as we delve into the motives behind her return and the events that shaped her into the person she is today over the last twenty years.

In the latest installment of the soap opera, Zoe’s narrative took a significant turn when Kate discovered that she had encountered both Stacey and Alfie. Simultaneously, Tommy fled and reconnected with his sister Zoe. The pair is expected to make their comeback to Walford next week together.
Previously, Wadey hinted that Zoe might create a stir when she came back, stating, “Zoe often finds herself in troublesome situations – I believe this is due to the identity crisis she faced at an early age, resulting in a muddled sense of self and a propensity for self-destructive behavior.
During their secret dinner together with executive producer Ben Wadey and the Slaters, Jessie Wallace (who plays Kate in EastEnders) became emotional upon seeing Michelle Ryan (Zoe). The meeting was filled with strong feelings as they reminisced about the past, making it a touching and nostalgic experience.
