EastEnders recently revealed another disturbing act committed by Joel Marshall, played by Max Murray.

Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) is in the hospital recovering from a violent attack by Joel. Meanwhile, Joel remains in police custody and has cut ties with his father, Ross (Alex Walkinshaw).

Ross reported Joel to the police after discovering disturbing videos of women on his computer. He then went to see Vicki to explain what he’d found.

Vicki was horrified to learn Ross had known Joel was secretly filming women and girls. When Ross explained he couldn’t abandon Joel, Vicki was stunned and decided to end their relationship.

Ross was kicked out of Sharon Watts’s house, and Vicki was released from the hospital.

A social worker and a detective came to Avani Nandra-Hart (played by Aaliyah James) to inform her that a private video of her with Joel had been shared online.

As viewers may recall, Ross found the video soon after Joel filmed it without Avani knowing. Although Ross told Joel to delete it, Joel kept it hidden.

Avani was devastated, running away as she struggled to take in this vile invasion of her privacy.

Avani appreciated her parents, Priya Nandra-Hart and Ravi Gulati, especially when Ravi generously offered to book a spontaneous vacation for her.

Ravi tasked Tobias, also known as Okie Okyere (played by Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu), with rescuing the captured Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway), but Okie had a different plan in mind.

As for Avani, how will she move on from her traumatic discovery when she returns?

And with Joel due to appear in court, what punishment will he face?
