Cococucumber is developing Echo Generation 2, a cyberpunk role-playing game with turn-based combat, for Xbox Series and PC. The game is planned to release in 2026 and will be available on Steam and the Microsoft Store.
We’re excited to announce that Echo Generation 2 is coming soon! According to Cococucumber’s game director, Martin Gauvreau, the team has been working hard to build on the original Echo Generation, taking feedback from players to create a bigger and better adventure for the people of Maple Town and the surrounding areas. We’ll be sharing more details soon!

Here is an overview of the game, via Cococucumber:
In Echo Generation 2, players continue the story as Jack, an everyday dad, finds himself lost in a strange new dimension beyond his hometown. He’ll team up with unusual friends and battle surprising alien foes as he tries to find his way back home.
This sci-fi adventure game reimagines traditional turn-based battles as a fast-paced deckbuilding experience. Players can collect over 100 unique cards to create powerful combinations, launch attacks, and call in reinforcements. The game lets you discover what happened to Jack during his lost years, venturing into a mysterious new dimension inspired by the look and feel of 80s and 90s films and video games, all brought to life with a vibrant, retro voxel art style.
