The obituary stated, “Maureen derived happiness from life’s basic delights.” She held a special fondness for the beach, particularly the seashore, and cherished her canine companions deeply.

The obituary praised Maureen as a “gifted social facilitator,” highlighting her talent for gathering people, hosting parties filled with warmth, camaraderie, and culinary delights that left lasting impressions.

Later in life, she developed an unforeseen fondness for football, spending countless joyful moments and adventures with her cherished friend Ed Kelce and faithful companion Butch. They frequently journeyed together, attending football matches and concerts, always seizing chances to live life to its utmost.
