The Fine Print on EdgeX’s Generosity

Here’s the kicker: EdgeX will only cover actual realized losses, so if you were dreaming of recouping trading fees or funding fees, think again. And don’t get too excited-there’s a cap of 100,000 USDC per user. Because, you know, they’re not that generous.

Half of the compensation will be paid in USDC within seven days, while the other half will come in EDGE tokens. Yes, the very same tokens that just took a 23% dive. Good luck with that.

The Great PancakeSwap Pile-On

According to EdgeX, the whole debacle started when 174 addresses decided to flood a PancakeSwap pool with sell orders during a time of “thin liquidity.” Translation: it was the crypto equivalent of pushing over a Jenga tower in a room full of toddlers.
