Edia and Takara Tomy have partnered to bring the classic 3D fighting games Battle Arena Toshinden, Battle Arena Toshinden 2, and Battle Arena Toshinden 3 to today’s gaming systems, Edia recently announced.
The Battle Arena Toshinden series began with the first game releasing on PlayStation in January 1995. Battle Arena Toshinden 2 followed later that year, appearing in arcades and on PlayStation in November and December respectively. Battle Arena Toshinden 3 was released for PlayStation in December 1996. All three games were released internationally, and the series marked its 30th anniversary in January 2025.
These games will launch between 2026 and 2027. Edia will use its experience to not just bring these classic titles to new platforms, but to enhance them and create enjoyable experiences for fans.
