Elden Ring Nightreign players sick of Everdark Augur boss can’t even pretend to be sad there’s a glitch that makes it jump off the edge of the map: “Nightlord felled… off the map”

Absolutely, Everdark Augur may seem like a simple, sleepy creature with no eyes, thoughts, or bones, and many might dismiss it as one of the most disliked creatures in FromSoftware history. However, just because it lacks conventional intelligence doesn’t necessarily mean it’s devoid of any thought process. Perhaps there’s more to Everdark Augur than meets the eye! Let’s approach it with an open mind and see if we can discover something new about this enigmatic creature.

As an avid Elden Ring: Nightreign player, it’s fascinating to uncover that there seems to be a peculiar issue with the Everdark Augur. After we’ve relentlessly pushed this creature to the very edge of its limits, it appears that a glitch is causing the Everdark Augur to stray towards the border of its arena and fall off, essentially self-destructing instantly.

Everdark Augur might leave the game map,” warns EldenRingAlert on Twitter, accompanied by a video showing a player dealing a strong attack to the Augur. Unfortunately, the gooey adversary moves towards the edge of its arena, eventually sinking downwards, headfirst, into the fog.

In an effort to locate Everdark Augur somewhere in the distance, the player takes a spin or two around the area. However, suddenly, its entire health gauge turns into liquid, signaling the end of the battle. Nightreign then declares, “A NIGHTLORD HAS FALLEN.”

This paraphrase maintains the original meaning while using more natural and easy-to-read language.

“Nightlord felled…… off the map,” agrees a Twitter reply.

Here’s hoping I never find myself in that situation,” I fervently pray as a fellow gamer. (Although, if it must happen to someone, make it me.)

Such ruthlessness, such indifference! Yet, I can see why there’s no mourning for Everdark Augur – it was designed to be a tougher version of the common Augur, but ironically, it’s ridiculously simple instead. I just wish it realizes it’s not the only one facing challenges.
