Without hesitation, we’ll confess that we have a soft spot for well-crafted monster flicks. And as the creators of A Quiet Place and The Purge bring us the Elevation trailer, it promises to be a pulse-pounding sci-fi thriller where you won’t back down without a struggle.
In a world forever altered, the last refuge for mankind lies high above 8000 feet. Beneath this boundary lurk the terrifying beings that decimated over 95% of humanity just three years prior. To secure my son’s survival and protect our kind from extinction, I find myself reluctantly joining forces with a scientist I despise, as well as an courageous young woman who may be our only hope. Together, we venture below “The Line,” risking everything to uncover the secret to vanquishing these monstrous threats and ensuring the future of humankind.
Featuring Anthony Mackie (from Captain America: The Winter Soldier), Morena Baccarin (known for Deadpool), Maddie Hasson (star of God Bless America) and Danny Boyd Jr. (recognized from Watchmen).
The film titled “Elevation” was penned by authors John Glenn (of “Eagle Eye”), Jacob Roman (“SEAL Team”), and Kenny Ryan (“SEAL Team”), and it is helmed by director George Nolfi, who also worked on “The Adjustment Bureau”.
