Elijah Wood is famous for playing Frodo Baggins in The Lord of the Rings, but he’s been in many other great films and shows. He started acting at age 8 with a small role in Back to the Future Part II and has had a successful career for over 30 years. Before appearing in recent projects like The Monkey and Yellowjackets, he starred in a little-known animated movie that will soon be removed from streaming services.
In 2006, Elijah Wood provided the voice for Mumble, a charming tap-dancing penguin, in the musical comedy Happy Feet, directed by George Miller. The film follows Mumble, a penguin who can’t sing but is a talented tap dancer. Featuring a star-studded cast including Robin Williams, Brittany Murphy, Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman, and Steve Irwin, Happy Feet will no longer be available on HBO Max after December 31st.

Underneath all the singing and dancing, it actually deals with some pretty important stuff like being yourself, protecting the environment, and overcoming prejudice. And visually? It’s a knockout. The animation was groundbreaking for its time, seamlessly blending CGI and live-action to create a truly stunning and immersive world of snow and penguins. It really brought those little guys to life!

Where to Stream Happy Feet After It Leaves HBO Max?
If you’re a fan of the movie Happy Feet and want to watch it online, you should do so soon. It’s currently only available on HBO Max, and it will be removed from the service on December 31st. While it might eventually appear on another streaming platform, there’s no guarantee it will be available anywhere to stream after that date.
