Elizabeth Hurley’s Son Damian Defends Her Billy Ray Cyrus Romance

Damian Hurley knows mom Elizabeth Hurley has the opposite of an achy breaky heart.

The model specifically highlighted Miley Cyrus’s boyfriend, Billy Ray Cyrus, praising him while their relationship continues to be a topic of public interest.

Damian recently addressed untrue stories about himself and his family in an Instagram post. He explained that, despite being a public figure since birth and usually staying silent on media coverage, the recent reports were so inaccurate he felt the need to speak up.

The 23-year-old clarified that she loves Billy Ray Cyrus and considers him a very kind person. She also expressed her happiness at seeing her mother so happy with him.

Damian said he has a great relationship with Billy Ray Cyrus’s children—Brandi, Trace, Miley, Braison, and Noah (with ex-wife Tish Cyrus), and Christopher (with ex Kristin Luckey)—and dismissed any claims to the contrary as boring and false.

Damian, whose father is Steve Bing, acknowledges he’s part of a unique and blended family. This includes his close relationship with his stepfather, Arun Nayar—Elizabeth’s former husband—and Arun’s children. Damian feels grateful for the love and support he receives from everyone.

He went on to say he was thankful for the reality they shared, even though others tried to define their lives for them.

Billy Ray first connected with Elizabeth in 2022 while working on the movie Christmas in Paradise. He seemed very moved by her message, and shared it on his Instagram Story, writing, “Love you D Man.”

This isn’t the first time Damian has publicly supported Elizabeth’s relationship. He previously included her partner, Billy Ray, in a Father’s Day post in June, writing a caption that celebrated his own father and other important men in his life.

Billy Ray, 64, responded in the comments, writing, “Ahh! I love this & love you D-Man.”

Since going public with their relationship in April, Al Pacino, 83, and Noor Alfallah, 60, have openly displayed their affection and worked to combine their families. In June, they were seen with Damian Hurley and Miley Cyrus at the premiere of Cyrus’s new film, Something Beautiful, showing their support.

Billy Ray Cyrus married Tish Cyrus (née Leticia Finley) on Dec. 28, 2003.

They already had a daughter, Destiny Hope Cyrus (better known as Miley Cyrus), and Tish was expecting their son, Braison Cyrus, who was born on May 9, 1994.

Before Miley was born on November 23, 1992, Billy Ray Cyrus’s former partner, Kristin Luckey, had a son named Christopher Cody Cyrus on April 8th.
