The debut trailer and promotional artwork for the movie “Ella McCay,” produced by 20th Century Studios, have been unveiled. This film is helmed by acclaimed writer-director James L. Brooks, known for his work on films such as “As Good as It Gets, Terms of Endearment, Broadcast News, The Simpsons.
A youthful, optimistic woman skillfully manages both her personal and professional life in a humorous series that explores the challenges and joys of loving and thriving amidst those closest to us.
Ella McCay” boasts a stellar ensemble with Emma Mackey (who’s garnering significant attention following her roles in Barbie, Emily and Eiffel), alongside Jamie Lee Curtis, Jack Lowden, Kumail Nanjiani, Ayo Edebiri, Spike Fearn, Rebecca Hall, Julie Kavner, Becky Ann Baker, Joey Brooks, as well as Albert Brooks and Woody Harrelson.
“Ella McCay” opens exclusively in cinemas on 12th December 2025.
