Elton John certainly felt the love as he rang in 2026 with his family.

Elton John gave fans a peek at the extravagant New Year’s Eve party thrown by Donatella Versace and Edward Enninful. He attended with his husband, David Furnish, and their two sons, Zachary, 15, and Elijah, 12.

Elton John and his husband David shared a rare photo of their sons on Instagram on January 2nd. The family posed with Donatella Versace, and everyone—including the dads—coordinated in black suits. Elijah chose a tie to complete his classic outfit, while Zachary went with a more casual, tie-less look.

Elton John shared photos from the glamorous New Year’s Eve party hosted by Donatella Versace and Edward Enninful, calling it a “perfect way to see in 2026” and thanking them both.

David posted a family photo on Instagram with a New Year’s message from his family, saying, “Wishing everyone a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year!”

Elton John, 78, and his husband David, 63, have generally kept their sons private. However, the singer recently shared a glimpse into his family life and revealed that his boys are the reason he’s planning to retire in 2024.

Elton John shared with Andy Cohen in November 2024 that while he’s had a wonderful life and successful career, his sons and husband David are what truly matter most to him.

He explained that he stopped touring so he could dedicate the later years of his life to being present for his family.

By stepping back from work, David and Elton will be able to fully enjoy and be present for important events in their son’s life.

He told Entertainment Tonight in June 2024 that they’re focused on being present for their sons as they enter their teenage years. He explained that this is a crucial period in a child’s life, and they don’t want to miss out on any of it.

The filmmaker explained that the subject has been doing this work for around 60 years, and it’s good to finally have time to be home with family.
