Emily Cooper is saying “ciao” to a chic new city.
Netflix unveiled a sneak peek at season 5 of “Emily in Paris,” hinting that Lily Collins’ main character will venture into Venice, Italy for the first time.
On August 20th, several photographs emerged showing Collins’ wife, Emily, elegantly attired. She was sightseeing in Venice, Italy, both riding a gondola along its famed waterways and walking around to appreciate the renowned landscapes, including the city’s iconic views.
Emily’s current relationship with Marcello, portrayed by Eugenio Franceschini, seems to be flourishing (at the moment) following her past breakups with Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and Alfie (Lucien Laviscount). They are frequently spotted horseback riding and sharing intimate moments on romantic walks together.
Additionally, Emily’s close friend Mindy (Ashley Park) and her work associates Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu), Luc (Bruno Gouery), and Julien (Samuel Arnold) return to provide both personal and professional assistance once more.
In the upcoming season five, drama enthusiasts can anticipate Emily, now the head of Agence Grateau Rome, encountering both professional and romantic hurdles while navigating life in a novel city. However, as things seem to align smoothly, an unexpected work proposition leads to a series of personal heartaches and career disappointments.
However, it doesn’t sound like Emily remains in Rome for long.
In the statement, it’s suggested that Emily finds comfort in her French way of life for stability. However, a significant secret jeopardizes one of her most cherished relationships. Facing the challenge head-on with sincerity, Emily comes out stronger with enhanced connections, fresh insight, and an eagerness to explore new horizons.
The images offer a sneak peek at the initial season of the show, as actress Emily Razat departed from the series back in the early part of this year after season four.
Following an extraordinary adventure, I chose to part ways from the series Emily in Paris,” Razat, who portrayed Camille, Gabriel’s former love interest, wrote in her Instagram post on April 23. “It has been an exceptional journey, full of development, creativity, and moments I will always cherish.
In response, the 31-year-old conveyed their appreciation towards Netflix, Paramount, and the creator of Emily in Paris, Darren Star.
Razat acknowledged both their trust and the chance to create Camille, expressing that the character will continue to be connected to the ‘Emily In Paris’ universe. He also hinted at potential future appearances for Camille,” Razat explained.
