You know, the ‘hot chef’ and Emily’s complicated love interest? It seemed like he finally realized Emily was genuinely happy with Marcello, so he stepped back from trying to win her over. It was a mature move for his character, even if it was a bit heartbreaking!

Emily In Paris Season 6 Must Avoid Another Emily & Gabriel Love Triangle

Emily and Gabriel clearly still have feelings for each other, and season six will likely explore what happens next with them. The good news is that they’re both currently single, which means they could reconnect without getting caught up in another complicated love triangle.

I’m almost begging the writers to move past the trope. But, there’s one particular romantic entanglement that has to happen in season six – it would just be perfect!

The central romantic conflict revolves around Mindy, Alfie, and Nico. Mindy and Alfie’s connection was the most passionate part of season 5, and their chemistry was undeniable whenever they shared a scene. The show wisely steered clear of a complicated love triangle involving Mindy, Emily, and Alfie. Although Emily was initially upset they kept their relationship secret, she confirmed that she and Alfie were done with each other.

After Mindy and Alfie split up, the return of Nico felt uninspired and her story lost momentum. While Nico seems to have matured and wants to treat Mindy well, they simply don’t have a strong connection. The spark she shared with Alfie is missing, and having Mindy marry Nico would be a mistake that would harm both her character and the overall show.

It looks like Alfie isn’t giving up on Mindy easily, judging by how he acted at the end of season 5. Similar to Gabriel, he seems determined to win her back in season 6 of Emily in Paris, and fans will likely be happy to see him try.
