Emily Maynard’s Daughter Ricki Hendrick Shares New Photos of Baby Girl

Ricki Hendrick’s latest motherhood update is sure to warm your heart.

Just days after welcoming her daughter, Romi, Emily Maynard Johnson—known from The Bachelorette—shared a peek at how she’s helping the newborn adjust to the cold winter weather. Romi’s father, the late race car driver Ricky Hendrick, is also fondly remembered.

On February 1st, Ricki, 20, posted a photo on Instagram of herself bundled up in a large gray sweater and sweatpants, holding her baby Romi. Romi was cozy in a cute beige outfit, and the photo was taken during a snowy blizzard. Ricki captioned the picture, “Romi’s first snow.”

Ricki shared a cute photo with her daughter, and another featuring both of them with Carter Dyer, who was wearing a black coat, jeans, and a gray hat. Although she didn’t directly tag Carter in the post, she previously shared a picture of him looking at her baby on her Instagram Stories, with the caption, “We’ll be here.” Ricki has not revealed the identity of her baby’s father.

Ricki seems happy to be starting this new phase of her life, but she’s been open about how difficult her pregnancy was. Soon after sharing the news in August, she talked about the uncomfortable symptoms she experienced while expecting.

She shared on Instagram in November how much she was struggling with pregnancy. She described a recent morning where she woke up repeatedly, first at 2 AM for no reason, then again at 3:45 AM, each time followed by vomiting. She explained she was now feeling nauseous and hungry, but afraid to eat anything because it would likely make the cycle of waking up and throwing up continue.

Despite the challenges, it was all worth it. Emily’s husband, Tyler Johnson, shared photos from the delivery room on Instagram with a heartfelt message about becoming grandparents. He described the feeling as beyond words, simply stating, “This is love.” Tyler and Emily are parents to Jennings (10), Gibson (9), Gatlin (8), Magnolia “Nola” Belle (5), and Jones (3).
