Emma Heming Willis Slams “Debate” Over Bruce Willis’ Home Arrangement

Emma Heming Willis is doing the very best she can. 

After the announcement made by Bruce Willis’ wife, 16 years his companion, that he has been living apart from her and their daughters, aged 13 (Mabel Willis) and 11 (Evelyn Willis), she continued to assert that this decision was what was best for their family. This is because, at 70 years old, Bruce is suffering from frontotemporal dementia, a condition which necessitates a change in his living arrangements.

During her interview on Good Morning America on September 9th, Emma made it clear that the decision was tough, yet necessary and in everyone’s best interest – not only for Bruce, but also for our two little girls. She emphasized that this matter is non-negotiable.

Instead of revealing details about her family’s living circumstances to lift the veil on the private lives of caregivers, she was aware that this might stir up debate.

She firmly stated, “I won’t be asking for a vote regarding that matter. To me, it’s clear that Bruce always receives the finest care and his needs are consistently fulfilled to the fullest.

The author of “The Unexpected Journey” aimed to convey through her writing that her genuine compassion for Bruce, father to Rumer Willis, Scout Willis, and Tallulah Willis, might offer comfort and understanding to caregivers worldwide, particularly those caring for loved ones diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD).

She noted that caregivers often face judgments. This underscores the fact that opinions can differ significantly from actual experiences. It’s crucial to make decisions that are best for your family, ensuring the safety of both your loved ones and young kids.

In late 2022, Bruce received a diagnosis that was made public by his family in February the following year. This left Emma feeling isolated as she didn’t know where to start with his care, leading her to write her memoir, which is now available for purchase, starting today, September 9th.
