Emmerdale airs gunshot horror for Robron and surprise wedding for Pollard in ITVX release

Residents of Emmerdale have been facing a terrifying situation as Aaron Dingle and Robert Sugden find themselves in danger after an encounter with Kev Townsend.

Jacob Gallagher and Sarah Sugden were shocked and upset to see Jacob’s grandad, Eric Pollard, get married again – this time for the sixth time.

Kev, a troublesome character from the past, has returned and is secretly watching Robron. It’s obvious to fans that he still harbors feelings for Robert and hasn’t gotten over being rejected for Aaron.

Today’s scene opened with the couple happily repairing something when, unexpectedly, Kev emerged from the bushes and shot them. Both men immediately fell to the ground.

It was immediately clear who had done it, and the police were called. While officers suspected poachers, Robert knew what really happened. He tried to appear calm, hiding the fact that he’d confessed his feelings for Aaron to Kev the day before.

Vic Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) came to The Mill with an envelope she discovered outside Robron’s door.

I was shocked when we got a package from our neighbours – it wasn’t a friendly gesture at all. Inside, along with Kev’s wedding ring, was a bullet. It was terrifying and completely unexpected.

Jacob and Sarah were heartbroken when their attempt at a surprise wedding during their gender reveal party went terribly wrong. They arrived at the registry office, ready to get married, only to discover that Pollard and Kerry Wyatt were already getting hitched.

Belle Dingle planned a fun event for the kids, but it was completely forgotten because of the fake wedding that happened instead.

The other villagers had no idea what Pollard was planning. He only married Kerry to get money for Jacob’s future.

Honestly, seeing the newlyweds act all giddy and surprised with each other was a really fun break from the heavier stuff happening with Kev. It was a welcome bit of comedy, especially with such a dark cloud hanging over the whole village. It lightened the mood when things were getting pretty intense.

Will it be a happy Christmas? Let’s face it, probably not…
