Emmerdale will finally reveal why Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) disappeared on his wedding day to Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) in Monday’s episode, airing September 15th, 2025.
Vinny is incredibly stressed on his wedding day because the person blackmailing him, known as ‘Mike’, has upped the stakes. After Vinny tried to trick Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah), Mike demanded another £10,000, threatening to reveal Vinny’s personal struggles with his sexuality at the wedding reception if he doesn’t pay.
Gabby gets frustrated when her mother, Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles), shows up and warns the wedding party that the wedding shouldn’t happen, revealing she knows a secret about Gabby.
What is Gabby hiding, and is Bernice right to disapprove?
Gabby is troubled and goes to see Vinny, wanting to share some bad news. What exactly does she tell him?
She feels like the wedding is going well again, but Vinny is incredibly stressed because of the ongoing threat from ‘Mike’ and the limited time they have.
I was so excited for the wedding, and then, as people started arriving at the church, Vinny just vanished! It was awful – his best man, Kammy, completely panicked and immediately started trying to find him on the phone.
I’m totally on the edge of my seat! Gabby’s heartbroken that Vinny’s disappeared, and I can’t figure out what’s going on. Is he calling off the wedding, or is something much worse happening – is he somehow trying to bribe the person who’s been making his life miserable? I need to know!
