Olivia Bromley has reportedly been axed from Emmerdale, after playing Dawn Taylor for eight years.
This character first appeared in the ITV soap opera in 2018 and has since played a major role in many of its most important plots.
However, The Sun reports that producers have chosen to remove the actress and her character from the show.
I’m a huge Emmerdale fan, and I’m honestly shocked to hear Olivia’s leaving! Apparently, everyone on set loves her, so the decision to write her character out hasn’t been received well at all. It’s really upsetting news!
Olivia is well-liked on the show, and many believe her removal means anyone could be eliminated next.

According to a source, Bromley accepts the decision and is scheduled to film her departure from the show in a few months.
ITV declined to comment when approached by TopMob.
While on Emmerdale, Dawn overcame serious challenges, including escaping drug addiction and prostitution. She also broke free from a dangerous gang, took the drastic step of killing DI Malone, and then worked with Harriet Finch to hide what she’d done.
She previously had a romantic relationship with her step-brother, Jamie Tate, and is now in a relationship with Joe Tate.
Fans will have to stay tuned to find out what Dawn’s final months on screen have in store for her.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 8pm on ITV1. Stream on ITVX.
