Fans of Emmerdale are in for an exciting week ahead, as the much-anticipated wedding of Gabby Thomas (played by Rosie Bentham) and Vinny Dingle (portrayed by Bradley Johnson) is set to take place. The event promises to be even more special with a beloved character from the past making a comeback for the occasion!
Yesterday evening’s Emmerdale episode saw the return of Claire King, who once again took on the character of Kim Tate. Her character had been away for several weeks due to a business trip to Dubai, as the plotline explained.
It’s understandable that, even though she returned to the village, Kim hadn’t made plans yet to attend Gabby’s wedding, given their complicated history together.
Yet, just in the nick of time, Gabby’s stepmother Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) manages to sway her opinion, as soap previews hint at Kim’s attendance at the wedding. However, the usefulness of this intervention remains uncertain.
Gabby and Vinny’s wedding seems to be facing difficulties due to Vinny’s internal struggles regarding his sexuality. He is now uncertain about whether they should proceed with the marriage.
The spoiler hints that Vinny won’t make it to the wedding venue before his bride arrives. However, it does not disclose whether he will subsequently arrive on time and rectify his tardiness, or if this situation will result in an authentic jilt.
It’s not just the mystery that adds drama; Kim isn’t the sole unexpected attendee at Gabby’s wedding either.
Apart from the mystery, there are other sources of drama at Gabby’s wedding, as Kim won’t be the lone surprise guest.
Or even more colloquially:
The mystery isn’t the only thing making things interesting at Gabby’s wedding. Besides Kim, there will be a few other surprises too.

Initially, Bernice (Samantha Giles), her mother, was not anticipated to attend due to her sudden departure from the Dales following allegations of fraudulent actions.
On the grand occasion, I muster the nerve to reappear, aiming to disrupt the smooth sailing with a significant twist – that’s right, causing even more turmoil when I cross paths romantically with Bob, the charismatic proprietor of this beloved Bed & Breakfast.
Tune in next week to see where these intriguing storylines end up.
Emmerdale airs weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX.
