Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) got involved in the ongoing Robron storyline on Emmerdale, and that decision has put him on the bad side of dangerous prisoner Kev Townsend (Chris Coghill).
This happened after Robert Sugden, played by Ryan Hawley, openly showed affection for his husband while at The Woolpack pub, right in front of his former husband, Aaron Dingle, who is played by Danny Miller.
Aaron felt really strange. Before Kev showed up, it seemed like he and someone else were definitely going to reconnect, but now that possibility is gone.
To make things even worse, the criminal did something truly awful by bringing up Aaron’s past sexual abuse – information that only Robert could have shared.

Aaron was stunned to find Kev at his apartment. Kev threatened him, saying he’d kill Aaron if he interfered in his marriage again. Honestly, Kev is a direct person who doesn’t mince words.
Tonight on the show, Mack noticed Aaron was upset and encouraged him to talk about what was bothering him. Aaron revealed he’d had a disagreement with Kev, and it now seems unlikely that he and Robert will get back together.
After seeing his close friend retreat in defeat, Mack went to Woodbine Cottage to challenge him.
He greeted Kev, who was wearing an apron and making a lemon drizzle cake, and then asked what had occurred.
Okay, so Kev was seriously laying down the law with Mackenzie. He made it very clear he wasn’t just talking tough – he meant every word. Basically, he warned Mackenzie that if he didn’t want to lose his good looks, he’d better stay out of things that didn’t concern him. It was a pretty chilling moment, honestly – classic Kev, though.

Aaron was told this, and he confirmed that he’s accepted he no longer has romantic feelings for Robert, and Robert feels the same way.
Mack didn’t trust Robert, and suspected Robert had only moved in with Kev because they were both in prison and seeking companionship.
Mack jokingly called Kev a “psycho cake baker,” and now Kev seems determined to not let it go. It looks like a new argument has started.
But will Mackenzie regret crossing Kev’s path?
