April Windsor, played by Amelia Flanagan, is worried about Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) on Emmerdale, leading Paddy Dingle (Dominic Brunt) to consider what they should do next.
Bear is haunted by the fact that he accidentally killed Ray Walters last month while trying to shield Paddy. He’s been in hiding ever since, trying to keep Paddy safe from the fallout.
Bear had been held captive on Celia Daniels’s (Jaye Griffiths) farm for months, so being locked in a vacation home wasn’t a good solution, and he managed to get away.

Honestly, I’m really gripped by this storyline. Paddy’s back in the village, but he’s constantly on edge, terrified his dad will reveal the truth about what happened to Ray. And DS Walsh? She’s relentless! She’s convinced Bear isn’t telling the whole story, and I have to say, I’m starting to agree with her. Something definitely feels off.
Today’s Hotten Courier featured a front-page story about the murder, and Dr. Manpreet Sharma questioned if Paddy had thought about getting Bear some counseling.

He initially dismissed the idea, explaining his father wasn’t prepared to discuss it. However, he later came to think it might actually be needed.
April warned Bear that staying home and listening to music all day would only make things worse for him. She tried to convince him that Ray was a bad person and didn’t deserve sympathy for what had happened.

Entwined in his Stockholm Syndrome, Bear burst into tears and refused to accept what she said.
After seeing how much his father was struggling, Paddy decided it was time to seek professional help. It wasn’t an easy decision, as there were potential downsides, but it was necessary.
Will Paddy regret this decision, or will Bear keep quiet about what happened?
