Graham Foster, recently back in Emmerdale, surprised Rhona Goskirk with a startling revelation.
The villagers are shocked to learn that Graham, who used to look after Joe Tate and was married to Kim Tate, wasn’t actually dead.
So, how did he manage to survive being cremated? It turns out, after overhearing Kim plotting to have him killed by Al Chapman, he pretended to die during a violent fight with Rhona’s former husband, Pierce Harris.

Graham disappeared, leading Rhona to think he had died. They’d been dating for several months, and he’d become close to her son, Leo. However, Graham feared staying would put them all in danger.
It was awful when Marlon, my husband Rhona’s new husband, ended up in prison. Everyone thought he’d killed Graham, and it was just a really difficult time for all of us.
Six years later, he unexpectedly appeared at Smithy Cottage, claiming he’d learned about April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan), her step-daughter, while hearing rumors of a local drug dealing gang.

He tried to rescue her from the dangerous Ray Walters and Celia Daniels, but it turned out he didn’t need to – they both died a few hours later.
Since returning to Home Farm, Graham has become a nuisance in the village, much to Kim’s dismay. She secretly wished he hadn’t survived.
Others felt the same way, and Marlon was especially angry that Rhona hadn’t told anyone he was back.
Okay, so things got weird at Smithy’s today. Graham just showed up out of the blue, and he brought Leo a football – claiming it was hers, which felt totally forced. It was clearly just an excuse to corner her and, get this, he straight-up confessed he’s still in love with her! Talk about awkward.

Rhona was shocked and upset, explaining that it wasn’t fair for him to suddenly reveal such a big secret when she’s in a committed relationship with Marlon.
After being ordered out, Graham returned to Home Farm with his tail between his legs.
Marlon rushed to the manor house, confronting the person inside and asking why they’d told Rhona about his feelings.
With Marlon and Rhona both healing from a difficult year, we were left to wonder if she might eventually feel the same way about him.
