Okay, so Endless Legend 2 is almost here – it’s hitting early access soon! The devs are planning to put out a FAQ to get us all up to speed before we jump in. They’re holding off on announcing the price and what they’ve got planned for after launch until the game is actually live, but just a heads-up: multiplayer won’t be ready right away. We’ll have to be patient for that one!
We’re planning to spend more time refining the game and will include the changes in an update over the next few months. We also confirmed that there won’t be any sea-based technology, as the planet Saiadha experiences continually receding sea levels. Players will be able to explore newly uncovered areas as the water levels change, and eventually connect with other groups within the game.
Regarding the Steam Deck, *Endless Legend 2* can be played, but it hasn’t been fully tested for compatibility and needs further optimization. PC gamepad support is planned, though a release date isn’t available yet. The developers at Amplitude are interested in allowing modding, but haven’t detailed the extent of that feature.
The game’s director, Derek Paxton, will share details about feedback from the recent demo in a new blog post called “State of the Game.” Keep an eye out for updates!
The sequel to Endless Legend, titled *Endless Legend 2*, will be available in Steam Early Access starting September 22nd. Players can also access the game through Xbox Game Pass.
