Erin McNaught recently posted news about her baby boy, Obi, who had a brain tumor removed in a surgery seven months ago.
On Friday, the Australian model (aged 43) posted a picture on social media featuring her newborn son wrapped snugly in a blanket and wearing a cap in his stroller.
She described the six-hour wait during Obi’s surgery as ‘terrifying.’
She started her post by saying, “Two weeks and a day have passed, and now our beloved Obi is finally with us at home.
Following a nerve-wracking six-hour operation where the surgeons extracted the tumor, numerous follow-up examinations, and several anxious instances and restless episodes, Obi is currently recuperating exceptionally fast and medical professionals are optimistic that they successfully eliminated the tumor in its entirety.

Erin added that while we haven’t gotten conclusive findings just now, our initial checks are offering us a tentative sense of hope.
At present, our primary concern is his healing process. Seeing him giggle, engage in play, and explore the world with a smile brings immense happiness to us, even though there’s still a lot of ground to cover on this journey. However, we are profoundly grateful that he no longer has to endure pain.
In a touching video posted by Stasi Kotaras, better recognized as Stace Cadet, the renowned South Australian record producer is captured playing hide-and-seek in the backyard.
He softly says, “I’ll playfully chase you,” as he targets his son, who joyfully laughs every time his father approaches to tickle his belly.
In a heartfelt post, Erin expressed her deep gratitude towards the team at Queensland Children’s Hospital for the exceptional care they provided.
As a devoted parent, I can’t stress enough my profound gratitude towards the medical team at the hospital who tirelessly looked after and nurtured our precious son, not to mention us as well.
As a lifestyle guide, I’m deeply grateful for the unwavering encouragement, affection, and kindness bestowed upon me by friends, kin, and even strangers across the globe. Their compassion has been my beacon of light in the journey towards creating meaningful content and sharing practical advice.

4) “We’re in the process of comprehending everything that unfolded. Such an experience offers a viewpoint like no other, but for now, we’re just thrilled to have our small family united once more.”
5) “It takes us some time to fully digest what has taken place. This type of situation grants a unique vantage point, but for the present, our happiness comes from having our family back together again.

Obi had surgery to remove his tumour on June 14.
Erin was taking things one day at a time, yet she felt incredibly grateful for each day. She wanted to express her gratitude for everyone’s thoughtful messages of encouragement that they had sent her. This is what she wrote:
“I’m just living life one day at a time, but I am so thankful for today. Thank you so much for all the lovely messages of support you have sent me.
Erin and Stace first shared the devastating news about their son at the beginning of this month.
The pair, having become parents for the first time together in October, released a heartfelt shared declaration, conveying their deep sorrow.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve observed a significant change in Obi’s demeanor and joy levels.
‘He was having problems eating, sleeping and most recently, keeping his head straight.’
Under the guidance of their physician, they chose to have Obi examined with an MRI scanner after observing concerning alterations.
Earlier this week, a scan uncovered a startling finding: a substantial growth found on the right side of his brain, which is a tumor.
Around 6:00 PM on Tuesday evening, we had a meeting with a neurosurgeon who shared some devastating information with us.

‘We are absolutely shattered and the last few days have been our hardest days.’
The post received an outpouring of encouraging messages from relatives, acquaintances, and admirers, among them Erin’s former spouse – the father of her two boys, aged seven (Evander) and five (Ennio).
The troubling news comes after an initially blissful journey into parenthood for Erin and Stace, who first shared their son’s birth with Daily Mail Australia in December, following his birth in October.
The couple shared at the time that they had named him Obi and were over the moon to bring him home.
‘We are so in love with him, we can’t believe he’s finally here,’ Stace said in December.
Previously, the ex-host of MTV shared details about her challenging pregnancy, disclosing that it was a delicate balance at certain points due to health issues during the third trimester.
