Right, so Ethereum. It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster, hasn’t it? Down 1.82% today – because why not? – and a whopping 26.75% over the last year. But, darling, don’t despair. Apparently, “Bonk Guy” (yes, that’s what they’re calling him) reckons there’s a rally coming. Let’s see if he’s right, shall we? 🙄

Ethereum ETFs See Massive Inflows

ETFs, bless their little cotton socks, are seeing some action. Bonk Guy (still not over that name) says it’s all positive.

Fifteen consecutive days of inflows. That’s… something, isn’t it?

  • BlackRock’s ETHA: $35.2 million in a single day. Show off. 💸
  • Fidelity’s FETH: $12.9 million. Not bad, darling, not bad.
  • Grayscale’s ETH: $4.6 million. Every little helps, I suppose.

And on June 3rd? A stonking $109.5 million. That’s the highest this month. So far. 🥂

Corporates Are Holding Ethereum

Apparently, the big boys are getting involved. SharpLink Gaming (who?) closed a $425 million deal led by ConsenSys. Because why not throw millions at crypto?

It’s like Bitcoin with MicroStrategy, but… Ethereum. Right. 🤔

ETH Staking Approval in ETFs May Be Near

Staking in ETFs might be a thing. If the regulators pull their fingers out, that is. Could unlock “significant institutional inflows.” Whatever that means. More money, I guess? 🤷‍♀️

Short Squeeze Ahead?

Ooh, a short squeeze! Sounds kinky. Apparently, if the price goes up, the short-sellers will panic. Good.

And weekly active addresses are up. People are actually using this stuff. Who knew? 🤯

ETH Supply on Exchanges Is Shrinking

Less ETH on exchanges. People are hoarding it, staking it, or just losing their private keys. Who knows?

Notable outflows:

  • Bitfinex: -572,946 ETH. Blimey.
  • Coinbase Pro: -2,149 ETH. Every little helps, I suppose.
  • OKX: -13,627 ETH. Okay then.
  • Kraken: -6,428 ETH. Release the Kraken… of ETH. Sorry.
  • Bithumb: -19,572 ETH. Never heard of it.

In total, over 261,000 ETH gone from the big exchanges. Vanished. Like my patience. 💨

All-Time High Staking and Layer 2 Boom

Loads of ETH staked. 34.6 million, apparently. That’s… a lot.

And Layer 2 networks are booming. Base is mentioned. Is that good? I have no idea. Probably. 🎉

Bottom Line: It might be rubbish now, but maybe, just maybe, it’ll be less rubbish soon. Don’t quote me on that. 😉
