The UK’s Eurovision artist, Look Mum No Computer, has revealed his song for the competition, and it’s expected to be a real crowd-pleaser.
The song, “Eins, Zwei, Drei,” is about breaking free from the monotony of a typical workday and entering a world of imagination and limitless potential.
The song features some German lyrics, marking the first time in 68 years that the UK’s Eurovision entry hasn’t been entirely in English.
I’m so incredibly excited everyone gets to hear what we’ve been working on! ‘Eins, Zwei, Drei’ really came to life during a jam session with some amazing writers and producers, all built around my synth, Kosmo. Honestly, I couldn’t be prouder of how it turned out.
He explained that he wants listeners to feel free to dance, sing, and fully enjoy the joyful, slightly crazy energy of the song. They’re putting a lot of effort into creating a truly unforgettable and energetic performance for Eurovision – a big challenge! He signed off by saying he looks forward to seeing everyone in Vienna.

The song is already getting great reviews, and BBC critic Mark Savage called it wonderfully and surprisingly unique.
Honestly, this whole competition feels like a wild, amazing dream, and I’m totally here for it! I never expected to be rooting for the UK this year, but they’ve really won me over – especially when Lithuania gave them those 12 points! It was a perfect moment.

UK Eurovision experts are all praising this year’s song. Graham Norton called it a “real banger” – joyful, catchy, and with the potential to get all of Europe singing.
Sara Cox described the song as an energetic and lively anthem, a fantastic mix of 80s new wave and a powerful beat. She said it’s immediately captivating and incredibly memorable, praising it as a daring and thrilling selection.
The BBC revealed that Fredrik ‘Benke’ Rydman, a creative director and choreographer, will be staging the performance in Austria this May.
As a huge Eurovision fan, I’ve been consistently blown away by the work of stage director Folker Rydman. Seriously, some of the most memorable performances I’ve seen in recent years are his creations! He was behind the staging for Nemo’s incredible winning performance of ‘The Code’ for Switzerland in 2024, as well as Käärijä’s energy-packed ‘Cha Cha Cha’ that almost took Finland all the way in 2023. And let’s not forget Måns Zelmerlöw’s visually stunning ‘Heroes’ which won for Sweden back in 2015 – that was a game changer!

I’m really disappointed to hear that several countries are choosing not to participate in the contest this year. It seems they’re protesting the decision to allow Israel to compete, and it’s a shame it’s come to this.
Several countries involved in the competition had asked for Israel to be excluded because of the war in Gaza. However, in December 2025, the European Broadcasting Union decided against banning Israel from participating.
As of today, Ireland, Spain, the Netherlands, Slovenia, and Iceland have announced they won’t be competing in Eurovision this year.
Following recent boycotts, the BBC released a statement expressing their support for the decision made by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). They explained that this action is about upholding EBU regulations and promoting inclusivity.
Eurovision 2026’s grand final takes place on Saturday 16 May with coverage across the BBC.
