Tonight, Everton icon Duncan Ferguson will join the Sky Sports team in the studio for Monday Night Football. He’ll be providing analysis as Everton take on West Ham United at Goodison Park.
The Scottish forward found the net 72 times in 273 games for the club based in Merseyside. He played for them for a total of 10 years, spread across two different periods.
The broadcaster has announced that the 53-year-old will be joining Jamie Carragher to cover the Premier League match. The coverage starts at 6:30pm on Sky Sports Main Event and Premier League, and will feature in-depth analysis of the league.
Everton will be aiming to regain their form after suffering back-to-back defeats – a first for them this season – and are expected to win against a West Ham side that is currently facing difficulties.
Despite the recent changes – with Graham Potter being dismissed and Nuno Espirito Santo taking over as manager – West Ham United now presents a significantly greater threat as they travel to Merseyside.
Ferguson, famous for his tough and uncompromising style of play, helped the team win the FA Cup in the 1994/95 season – which proved to be their last significant trophy. He was then honored as an ‘Everton Giant’ in 2011.

Following his retirement as a player, he transitioned into coaching, working with both the academy and the first team. He also assisted managers such as Carlo Ancelotti, Frank Lampard, and Rafael Benitez, and has twice taken charge of the team on an interim basis.
After departing from Everton in 2022, Ferguson’s attempts at managing Forest Green Rovers and Inverness unfortunately didn’t go as planned.
