Every DCU Movie & TV Series Coming in 2026

I’m so excited about where James Gunn is taking the DC Universe! 2025 really felt like the beginning, but 2026 is shaping up to be an incredible year. Seeing his Superman movie finally launch this new universe was amazing – it wasn’t just a great take on the character, but it introduced so many other heroes and hinted at what’s to come. It feels like everything is connected, and I can’t wait to see those teased characters get their own stories in movies and shows. Plus, they’ve announced a bunch of really cool projects, and some of them are already scheduled for release in 2026 – it’s going to be epic!

2026 looks set to be a pivotal year for the DC Universe. While not many projects are currently scheduled for release, the ones announced offer a clear glimpse into the franchise’s future. The heroes and villains appearing in 2026 suggest a compelling overarching story, making it a year with a lot of potential.

3) Supergirl (June 26, 2026)

Following a quick cameo in the first major DC film, Supergirl will take center stage in the next DC Universe movie. Titled simply Supergirl, the film will bring back Milly Alcock as the hero, alongside other DC characters, in a story drawing inspiration from the Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow comic series. Jason Momoa will also appear as the popular villain Lobo. Supergirl is scheduled to be released on June 26th.

2) Clayface (September 11, 2026)

Before Batman appears in his own film, the movie Clayface will introduce one of his lesser-known enemies into the DC Universe. Directed by Mike Flanagan, Clayface is expected to be a scary, body horror film that tells the origin story of the villain. Tom Rhys Harries will star as Clayface, and Naomi Ackie, Max Minghella, and Eddie Marsan will also be featured. With its strong ties to Batman and a talented cast and crew, Clayface is set to be a thrilling addition to the DCU when it’s released on September 11th.

1) Lanterns (Summer 2026)

Fans are eagerly awaiting Lanterns, a new DCU TV series expected to debut in 2026. The show will feature multiple Green Lanterns, building on the appearances of Guy Gardner in Superman (2025) and Peacemaker season 2. Because Green Lantern is a popular character who hasn’t had much live-action representation, excitement is high – especially with Aaron Pierre and Kyle Chandler starring. Although a specific date hasn’t been announced, Lanterns is currently planned for a summer 2026 premiere.
