The Scottish band Franz Ferdinand have returned, having released their sixth studio album this year.
Back in 2004, they stormed the music scene with their first album, and ever since, this dynamic team of Alex Kapranos, Audrey Tait, Julian Corrie, Bob Hardy, and Dino Bardot has been dishing out irresistible indie anthems tailor-made for festivals. (I, as a film enthusiast with a soft spot for music, can’t help but groove to their tunes!)
Setting out on a European trip, they will unite with the group arriving at Worthy Farm for the Glastonbury Festival’s weekend.
Here’s everything the band have released so far – and what successes they’ve had as a result.
