October is here, and Paramount+ is getting into the spooky spirit with a fantastic selection of horror movies and shows for Halloween. The streaming service already has a great collection of scary content, including titles like A Quiet Place, Sleepy Hollow, and The Autopsy of Jane Doe. But Paramount+ is adding even more horror throughout October, with dozens of films sure to give you a fright!
New horror titles started appearing on Paramount+ in October 2025, beginning on October 1st. Subscribers can now stream a variety of scary movies, including the popular vampire film 30 Days of Night, the creature feature Lake Placid, horror comedies Scary Movie 4 and Scary Movie V, and many more. The original Scream trilogy also became available on October 1st, making Paramount+ the ideal place to watch the entire Scream franchise. This month, Paramount+ will also add some family-friendly options with several Scooby-Doo titles perfect for viewers of all ages.

Having trouble choosing what to watch from the horror selections on Paramount+? We can help! The original Scream trilogy is definitely a standout, with the films directed by Wes Craven still considered some of the best slasher movies ever made. If you’re in the mood for a monster movie, you shouldn’t miss The Shallows – it’s a really tense thriller and one of the best shark movies since Jaws. Other excellent choices for this Halloween season include the classic ‘90s horror film The Craft, Sam Raimi’s The Evil Dead, and the more recent horror film The Menu.
