In simpler terms, Deadpool is not just known for his quick wit, but also for his charm with women. As a hired gun in the Marvel Universe, Deadpool encounters numerous characters, and not every interaction ends violently. Sometimes, there’s an attraction. There are women who overlook Deadpool’s scarred face and talkative personality to see his appealing traits. Yes, Deadpool can indeed be charming when he desires. In terms of romantic relationships, his list is quite impressive.
There are some characters who find Deadpool’s wit irresistible. Having a gift of gab, as Deadpool does, certainly has its perks when it comes to winning over the person you have feelings for. Whether an X-Man or an Avenger, Deadpool has somehow ended up sharing their bed on occasion. Some of these romantic encounters might take you by surprise, but it’s clear that none of them were destined for long-term success, given Deadpool’s single status. Still, the fact remains that these relationships did occur in the first place.
11) Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers)
Prior to assuming the role of Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers was recognized as the superhero known as Ms. Marvel. In an unexpected turn of events, Ms. Marvel and Deadpool nearly tied the knot. Notably, matrimony often plays a significant part in Deadpool’s storylines. After joining forces to combat alien beings with mind-control abilities, a tipsy Deadpool and Ms. Marvel decided to get hitched in a spontaneous Las Vegas ceremony.
Due to Captain America’s intervention, it turns out that an alien with mind-control abilities had been manipulating Ms. Marvel, causing her to agree to marry Deadpool. Once this manipulation was discovered and stopped, Ms. Marvel regained control of her own decisions and decided to call off the wedding. Despite this, Deadpool wasn’t under any control and appeared eager to recite his wedding vows if it meant he and Ms. Marvel could be married.
10) Satana Hellstrom
Satana Hellstrom is the child of Satan and the sibling of Daimon Hellstrom. She’s an influential succubus, yet not even her power could prevent her from being promised to a demon, surrendering her soul in the aftermath. Fortunately, Deadpool concocted a strategy for marrying Satana instead. The demons endeavored to eliminate Deadpool so he wouldn’t interfere, but Satana enhanced Deadpool’s swords with hellfire to balance the scales.
Following Satana’s retrieval of her soul, she took action against Deadpool, seizing his soul as she fled the scene. This unfortunate event marked another voided marriage for Deadpool.
9) Outlaw
In Deadpool’s world, hanging out with his fellow mercenaries is routine. Inez Temple, known as Outlaw, exudes charm with her penchant for tight t-shirts and mini-shorts. As a mutant, Outlaw becomes a target for Deadpool. Their interactions have always been playful, but one instance escalated into a passionate night together after Outlaw’s home was devastated. To make matters worse, Deadpool was the one who caused the destruction.
In a turn of events, Deadpool compensated for the chaos by diligently working to secure her a new residence. As a token of gratitude, Outlaw expresses her affection towards him through shared slumber. Interestingly, Deadpool and Outlaw did tie the knot at one point, but Deadpool endured multiple injuries during their wedding night due to Outlaw’s superhuman strength. It’s been speculated that those injuries were a factor in their subsequent marriage annulment.
8) Siryn
Among Deadpool’s initial adversaries was Black Tom Cassidy, a relative of X-Men member, Banshee, who happens to be his cousin. Later, his daughter, Siryn, joined forces with Deadpool in battling Black Tom. It was during this time that the mutual feelings between them began to develop. Interestingly, Siryn is one of the few individuals who can overlook Deadpool’s flaws and perceive the genuine person, Wade Wilson, hidden beneath the red and black mask.
On multiple editions of X-Force, Siryn has made an appearance, during which Deadpool started to exhibit a more noble side compared to his previous behavior. This new aspect appealed to Siryn, sparking feelings between them. Despite a promising start, their romantic connection didn’t endure. In a twist of unfortunate events, Deadpool mistakenly slept with Typhoid Mary, thinking she was actually Siryn. Naturally, Siryn learned about the indiscretion.
7) Jennifer Kale
In an otherworldly realm called Weirdworld, Deadpool experienced a deep romantic connection with sorceress Jennifer Kale. She was part of the coven along with Topaz and another past flame of Deadpool, Satana Hellstrom. Deadpool’s bond with Jennifer endured for several years, making it one of his most lasting relationships.
Sadly, Deadpool prioritized his career as a mercenary over cultivating a life with Jennifer Kale. It’s not uncommon for men to choose work over their relationships. In the end, Jennifer decided she wasn’t content with being in second place and chose to depart from Deadpool.
6) Mystique
In an unexpected turn of events, the enigmatic shapeshifter known as Mystique, surprisingly became Mrs. to the mercenary Deadpool. Throughout her long existence, Mystique has had romantic connections with various characters such as Wolverine, Sabretooth, and even Charles Xavier in another reality. Interestingly enough, their romantic relationship was never depicted on the pages of a comic book.
It’s common knowledge among readers that at some point, Deadpool and Mystique were married. However, it was Deadpool who initiated the annulment of their marriage. Mystique consented, and subsequently, she reconnected with Destiny.
5) Valentine Vuong
One of the recent entrants into Deadpool’s romantic entanglements is the assassin Valentine Vuong, who identifies as non-binary. This character was introduced in a fresh volume of Deadpool’s individual comic series, where they were employed by The Atelier to eliminate Doctor Octopus. Upon rescuing Deadpool, an instant connection and attraction between them sparked. Valentine is one of the few people who can handle Deadpool’s typical behavior with ease.
Valentine proved to be beneficial in Deadpool’s life, which makes it unfortunate that their relationship didn’t sustain. Given Deadpool’s circumstances, he could certainly use more positive influences. Yet, as with past relationships, his professional obligations take priority. And one thing that Deadpool excels at is taking on mercenary jobs.
4) Copycat
In simpler terms, among the characters involved in Deadpool’s love life is Copycat, who used to pretend to be Domino and is actually a mutant. Deadpool and Copycat have a history that dates back before he became Deadpool. Copycat was present during Wade Wilson’s cancer diagnosis, and they reunited when Copycat was part of Cable’s initial X-Force team.
Despite Domino’s true identity being revealed as Copycat, Deadpool and her romantic connection persisted. Given the depth of their past, it seems inevitable that they will reunite eventually.
3) Black Widow
Indeed, Deadpool did have a romantic entanglement with the legendary espionage agent, Black Widow. However, during that time, Deadpool mistakenly believed he was dating Black Widow’s sister, Yelena Belova, also known as White Widow. In reality, it was Natasha Romanoff, disguised as Yelena while they were both part of the Thunderbolts team. One heated argument between them ended with a passionate kiss shared by Black Widow and Deadpool.
Together, the two formed an efficient partnership, with Black Widow playing a crucial role in restoring Deadpool after his beheading, thereby hastening his recovery. However, this act of life-saving and head reattachment was not sufficient to maintain their connection. Eventually, Black Widow grew weary of Deadpool’s shenanigans and the two went their separate ways.
2) Shiklah
One notable achievement that could be added to Deadpool’s resume is winning the hand of Dracula’s bride, traditionally known as Shiklah. Initially, Shiklah was intended to marry Dracula to bridge the gap between their opposing factions. However, Dracula hired Deadpool to retrieve her and unexpectedly, they fell in love. This love triangle certainly added a layer of complexity! In the end, rather than marrying Dracula, Shiklah chose Deadpool as her husband instead.
At that point, the wedding was a significant event, with Marvel making extra efforts to publicize and advertise it. However, they eventually grew apart when Deadpool was on Earth and Shiklah ruled over Monster Metropolis. Despite leaving Deadpool to reconnect with Dracula, their marriage remains the most high-profile one for Deadpool.
1) Rogue
During their tenure together in the Avengers Unity Squad within the Uncanny Avengers series, Rogue and Deadpool developed a strong friendship. Unlike many others, Rogue remained unfazed by Deadpool’s jests, fostering a genuine connection between them. Even after sharing a kiss that resulted in Rogue absorbing his disfigurement, she showed no revulsion.
Sharing battles together deepened the bond between Deadpool and Rogue in Uncanny Avengers, making their romantic relationship a highlight. However, when the team split up, they moved apart. Still, there’s a possibility that Rogue and Deadpool may reunite someday, provided Gambit doesn’t intervene with his own plans.
