Now that 2026 is underway and everyone is back to their regular routines after New Year’s, Netflix is continuing to release new shows and movies. This week’s additions aren’t as numerous as last week’s, but there are still a few highlights, including a popular returning series and a brand new original film.
Netflix is adding the new action thriller, The Rip, starring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, on January 16th. The movie centers around Miami police officers who find a huge amount of cash, which creates suspicion and forces them to question who they can trust. The cast also includes Steven Yeun, Teyana Taylor, Sasha Calle, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Scott Adkins, Kyle Chandler, Nestor Carbonell, and Lina Esco.
Good news for fans of Veronica Mars: the first three seasons will be available on Netflix starting January 14th! However, there’s a catch – you won’t find all of the show on Netflix. The 2014 movie is exclusive to HBO Max, and the fourth and final season is streaming on Hulu. Still, getting the first three seasons together in one place is a fantastic opportunity for a re-watch or a first-time binge!
