However, Paramount+ is set to be a standout this month, especially for UFC fans, as it continues its regular schedule of events. Plus, the streaming service is celebrating a major milestone for the reality TV show Survivor – its 50th season (marking 25 years on air) – with a special season featuring 25 returning players and giving viewers a chance to influence the challenges.

February on Paramount+ is shaping up to be a funny month! The platform is adding lots of new, original shows, including an action-packed comedy, a sharply written sitcom, and the return of a beloved dramedy. ‘Old Guy’ (2024)

Aging hitman Danny Dolinski (Christoph Waltz) is getting ready to retire, but first, he’s asked to train a new recruit, the overconfident Wihlborg (Cooper Hoffman). Overseeing their mission is handler Anata (Lucy Liu). When the three discover their assignment is a trap designed to eliminate them in favor of a new generation of assassins, they must put aside their conflicts and work together to survive.

Julian Roman, writing for MovieWeb, noted that Old Guy prioritizes dramatic storytelling over action. He found the plot predictable—a typical story of gangsters on the run—but praised the film’s engaging lead performance and strong chemistry among the actors, which he felt improved the overall quality of the writing.

Critics were divided on the movie, giving it a 39% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. However, audiences loved it, awarding it a 94% score. ‘Can You Keep a Secret?’ (Season 1)

This month, Paramount+ is adding more great British television, including the new six-part comedy, . The show stars Dawn French and Mark Heap as Debbie and William Fendon, a married couple in rural England who find themselves in a funny situation when William is accidentally reported as dead. Instead of setting things straight, Debbie talks William into pretending he’s still gone so they can collect the life insurance money, and hides him in their attic. Keeping up the charade proves difficult as their family mourns and the police start to investigate.

Before becoming a Paramount+ original, Can You Keep a Secret? was first released in the UK and has already been praised for its charming story and the performances of Dawn French and Mark Heap. If you enjoy smart, modern comedies, the trailer suggests this series will be right up your alley. All six episodes of this new British sitcom will be available to stream on Paramount+ starting February 12, 2026.

‘Dreaming Whilst Black’ (Season 2)

The first season of Dreaming Whilst Black followed Kwabena (Adjani Salmon), a young man stuck in a dead-end job while trying to pursue his passion for filmmaking. He struggled to balance work and life, all while facing obstacles in the film industry that often dismissed or stereotyped him. The show’s second season finds Kwabena landing his first directing gig, but quickly realizing new difficulties come with the opportunity.

Dreaming Whilst Black is a funny and relatable show that honestly explores the challenges of working in the entertainment industry and pursuing your creative dreams. The second season will build on the themes of the first, continuing to offer the same smart humor that viewers and critics loved.
