Everything Coming to Netflix for New Year’s Week (December 29th)

As 2025 comes to a close, Netflix is marking both an end and a fresh start this week. The streaming service will say goodbye to its most-watched original series on New Year’s Eve, but will kick off 2026 with a wave of popular movies added to its catalog.

The final episodes of Stranger Things will be available on Netflix December 31st at 5pm Pacific Time. This extended episode will wrap up the popular 1980s sci-fi series after almost ten years. Plus, starting January 1st, 2026, Netflix will add a variety of movies, including Dune, Hellboy, and Despicable Me.
