Everything Coming to Netflix This Week (November 10th)

A fresh week is here, and with it comes a wave of new movies and TV shows on Netflix. Starting Monday, November 10th, Netflix will add something new for six days straight, giving subscribers plenty of fresh content to enjoy.

As a big fan of quality content, I’m really excited about Monday! That’s when Netflix is dropping the first new episodes of Sesame Street since the show made the move from HBO. It feels like a big moment for the streaming service and a great way to start the week.

I’m really looking forward to Wednesday on Netflix! They’re releasing a fantastic documentary called Being Eddie that dives into the incredible career of Eddie Murphy. And if you’re in the mood for something festive, they also have a new holiday rom-com, A Merry Little Ex-Mas, with Alicia Silverstone and Oliver Hudson – it looks super cute!

Monday, November 10th

Marines is a new Netflix documentary series that follows the young men and women of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, a US military team always prepared for action in the Pacific. The series provides a rare, in-depth look at the intense training and personal experiences of these Marines as they build strong relationships and navigate the challenges of life at sea.

This new version of the beloved children’s show Sesame Street offers familiar characters, popular segments, and fun, interactive experiences for families.

In the Netflix film A Merry Little Ex-Mas, recently divorced Kate (Alicia Silverstone) is determined to have one last wonderful Christmas with her family before she sells her home. However, her plans are thrown into chaos when her ex-husband, Everett (Oliver Hudson), shows up with a new, much younger, and very successful girlfriend. The film also stars Jameela Jamil, Pierson Fodé, and Melissa Joan Hart, and was directed by Steve Carr.

Netflix’s Being Eddie is a documentary celebrating the extraordinary career of Eddie Murphy. From sharing the stage with Jerry Seinfeld as a teenager to immediately joining Saturday Night Live after high school, Murphy’s rise to fame has been unmatched. Dynamite Kiss is a Korean romantic comedy series on Netflix. It follows a woman who pretends to be a mother to get a job, and the developing romance with her boss. The story is a heartwarming look at how she learns about responsibility and finding success while navigating lies and misunderstandings that eventually lead to love and truth.

Eloá the Hostage: Live on TV is a Netflix documentary that tells the story of a shocking kidnapping case in Brazil. It focuses on a teenage girl taken hostage by her former boyfriend, and the intense situation that unfolded.

Inspired by a true story, this Netflix series follows Mrs. Playmen, a woman who takes charge of an erotic magazine after being betrayed by her husband. Set in 1970s Rome, the magazine unexpectedly becomes a beacon of female empowerment.

Season 4 of Selling The OC follows the agents as they compete to make their office the leading brokerage at the Oppenheim Group. I just finished watching Had I Not Seen the Sun Part 1 on Netflix, and it’s a gripping series. It centers around a filmmaker who decides to interview a famous serial killer, and as she digs into his history, a really tragic story unfolds. It turns out his crimes are deeply connected to a painful past and, surprisingly, a lost first love. It’s not just a crime story; it’s a surprisingly emotional exploration of trauma and heartbreak.

Last Samurai Standing is a Netflix series from Japan. The show centers around Shujiro, who participates in a dangerous game where players earn points by eliminating each other. The question is: who will be the last one left?

Tee Yai: Born To Be Bad is a Thai film available on Netflix. Set in 1980s Bangkok, it tells the story of a clever thief who pulls off a string of bold robberies, leaving everyone puzzled. However, one determined police officer makes it his mission to stop him.

Something strange is happening at Unicorn Academy! During the Winter Solstice celebrations, things go wrong, and the Sapphires must work together to fix them and learn what the holiday really means.

Friday, November 14th

In the Netflix series The Crystal Cuckoo, a young doctor travels to a remote mountain town seeking information about the person who donated the heart she received. However, she soon discovers the town is haunted by a history of strange and tragic events.

In Your Dreams, a Netflix family film, follows a brother and sister as they embark on a quirky adventure through their dreams. Their mission? To find the Sandman and wish for the ideal family.

Nouvelle Vague (French for ‘New Wave’) is a Netflix film. It’s a charming and heartfelt story by director Richard Linklater that playfully recreates the filming of Jean-Luc Godard’s groundbreaking movie, ‘Breathless’.
