The creative minds at RGG Studio, responsible for the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series, have planned a unique event scheduled for transmission next month.
During a recent live broadcast, it was revealed that the team is planning to organize the RGG Summit 2025 on September 24th, with the event commencing as follows:
1. North America: Starting at 9 AM PST (Pacific Standard Time)
2. Europe: Starting at 6 PM CEST (Central European Summer Time)
3. Japan: Starting at 11 PM JST (Japan Standard Time)
- North America: 8pm (Tue) PDT / 9pm (Tue) MDT / 10pm (Tue) CDT / 11pm (Tue) EDT
- UK/Ire: 4am BST
- Europe: 5am CEST / 6am EEST
- Asia/Oceania: 12pm JST / 11am AWST / 1pm AEST
After the RGG Summit presentation, there will be a follow-up session called RGG Direct. This session will delve further into the topics covered in the Summit.
Details about what will be shown are under wraps.
It appears that the studio is now actively developing Stranger Than Heaven, which was earlier referred to as Project Century, and a fresh installment of Virtua Fighter. Consequently, there’s a strong likelihood that we might receive news about progress on either title soon.
It was during last year’s RGG Summit that Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii was officially announced by Gematsu, and it’s worth mentioning that previous new games have been revealed at such events.
As a gaming enthusiast, I can’t wait to catch a glimpse of what RGG Studio has in store for us in their upcoming presentations! Feel free to join the conversation and share your expectations with me and fellow gamers in the comments below.
