Ezra Sosa is still finding his rhythm.
The professional dancer from Dancing With the Stars revealed in a TikTok video on January 23rd that he had a difficult emotional moment, describing it as a “breakdown,” during the first show of the tour in Akron, Ohio the previous night.
Ezra, 25, shared a video showing his frustration after a rocky start to his tour. He explained he was upset with his performance during the first show, and was visibly distressed during intermission, shaking his head and covering his face.
The dancer, who most recently performed with Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles on season 34 of the show, apologized for his mistake. In a post about the incident, he wrote that he was very disappointed in himself and promised to improve.
People flooded Ezra with supportive messages after he posted a video. One fan wrote, “Ezra, please don’t stop! You’re an amazing dancer!” Another added, “Ezra, you’re the reason a new generation is watching this show – you’re incredibly talented and hilarious!”
One fan also sweetly reminded him: “Just remember the audience doesn’t know the choreography.”
Ezra started his professional dancing career on Dancing with the Stars during season 33. He was partnered with Anna Delvey, but they were eliminated after only one week of competition.
Ezra teamed up with Jordan, age 24, for his second season on the show, which ended last October. They reached the finals of season 34 but ultimately finished third.

As Ezra and Jordan worked together, they became very close friends. They playfully celebrated their bond with matching tattoos that said “Just Married,” jokingly referencing the rumors about a secret engagement. This was especially funny considering Ezra had publicly come out as gay in June 2022.
In October, Ezra addressed rumors of a falling out with Jordan, explaining to his Instagram followers that their relationship is more like that of a brother and sister.
He described Jordan as an incredible person and expressed deep gratitude for her presence in his life.

Jordan described their close relationship, saying, “We have a lot of fun together, and I think people can see how well we connect on social media.”
Ezra and Jordan became friends on season 34 of Dancing with the Stars, but they aren’t the only couple who found love on the show. Here’s a look at other romances that started in the ballroom.

The season 33 partners dated for about seven months between 2024 and spring 2025.

As a huge fan, I was absolutely thrilled when, during the final show of the 2025 Dancing With the Stars tour in April, two of the pro dancers finally shared a kiss onstage! It happened right at the end of their duet, and honestly, it felt like the perfect confirmation of all the romance rumors that had been swirling for months. I was so happy for them!
Are they a couple for show, or is it genuine? It seems real, as their coworker Ezra Sosa commented “FINALLY” when a fan shared a video of them kissing.

Fans began speculating about a possible romance between the former Bachelorette and the Jersey Shore star after they competed on season 31 of a show together. Their playful interactions on social media and vague answers to questions about their relationship fueled the rumors.

Despite living in different states, they’re enjoying their friendship and are looking forward to what the future holds.
Despite initial speculation, Gabby and her “Bachelor” contestant never became a couple. She later began dating comedian and writer Robby Hoffman in August 2023, and they married in January 2025.

Alek seemed to have a genuine crush on Emma, often getting flustered and refusing to talk about his feelings when asked. However, Emma quickly moved on after her appearance on the show with Skarlatos in 2015, suggesting any connection with Alek wasn’t very serious.

Professional dancer and former Bachelorette contestant Jenn were rumored to be dating after appearing on season 33 of Dancing with the Stars in 2024. However, their relationship ended in June 2025, soon after Jenn moved back to Miami to complete her master’s degree.

Were they a ‘showmance’ or genuinely in love? Regardless, they remained close friends and continued to work together respectfully even after ending their relationship.

The WWE Hall of Famer discovered she was pregnant shortly after getting engaged in Paris, and in 2020, they welcomed their son, Matteo Artemovich Chigvintsev.
Unfortunately, Nikki and Artem have ended their relationship. Nikki filed for divorce in September 2024, just two weeks after Artem was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence. However, the District Attorney’s office decided not to press charges after carefully reviewing the investigation and all available evidence.
Nikki and Artem finalized their divorce in November 2024. Both parties also dismissed the restraining orders they had filed against each other, wanting to focus on moving forward and co-parenting their son.

Oh my gosh, remember Derek and Shannon? Their connection in season six was EVERYTHING! They actually started dating after that, and I was seriously living for it. It lasted almost a year, which felt too short, honestly. But even when they broke up in 2009, it was the sweetest thing. They announced it on Twitter, together! Derek tweeted first, saying they’d decided to stop being boyfriend and girlfriend, and then Shannon finished it, saying they still loved each other and would always be friends. It was so mature and heartbreaking all at once! I was obsessed with them, and even the breakup was oddly perfect.
