Fairy Tail’s Beloved Main Characters Get New Designs in 20th Anniversary Figure Reveal
Bandai Spirits announced the first figures in a special collection celebrating the 20th anniversary of Fairy Tail on June 3rd. The lineup features four instantly recognizable characters for fans of the series. More prizes and details about the “Ichiban Kuji Fairy Tail 20th Anniversary” lottery will be revealed before its launch on October 3, 2026.
To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Fairy Tail is releasing new figures of its most beloved characters, showcasing their classic looks with incredible detail.
Right now, Natsu Dragneel, Lucy Heartfilia, Happy, and Erza Scarlet are the only prizes announced for the lottery. But we expect to reveal more prizes before it officially starts in October.
Each ticket for the “Ichiban Kuji Fairy Tail 20th Anniversary” lottery costs 850 Yen (around $5.31 USD). Everyone who buys a ticket is guaranteed to win a prize, and one lucky person will win the grand prize: an Ezra Scarlet figure. This Ezra Scarlet MASTERLISE figure shows the popular red-haired character in her armor, holding a large sword. The other three MASTERLISE figures in this set are also beautifully detailed.
I was really impressed with the new figures! Natsu Dragneel’s is incredibly detailed, capturing everything from his powerful punches to his playful grin. Lucy’s figure really shows off her confidence, with a beautiful smile and all her signature accessories. And Happy’s figure is great too – they even included his little green backpack and a surprisingly determined look on his face!
Fans of the popular fantasy series Fairy Tail have more to look forward to! A brand new Fairy Tail series will premiere in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on July 29, 2026, as part of the celebrations for the series’ 20th anniversary.
This August marks the 20th anniversary of the Fairy Tail manga. Over 72 million copies are now in print around the world.
