Get ready to return to the wasteland! Bethesda has announced the release date for the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition, so it’s time to prepare your gear.
During the recent Fallout Day livestream, Bethesda revealed that a remastered version of Fallout 4, originally released in 2015, will be coming out to celebrate the game’s 10th anniversary.
And there was even more good news during the stream! Bethesda also revealed a special Anniversary Bundle for Fallout: New Vegas, celebrating its 15th birthday. I already jumped on the pre-order – it’s packed with a ton of cool merch, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it!
In addition to the birthday celebration, Bethesda announced that the character known as the Ghoul from the Fallout TV series will be added to Fallout 76 on December 2nd, 2025 – perfectly timed with the release of season two of the show!
So, if you, like me, were excited about the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition during the stream, I’m here to give you all the important info! Let’s dive in and cover everything you need to know.
When is the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition release date?
The Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S starting Monday, November 10th, 2025.
The Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition will be released on the same date as the original Fallout 4, which came out in 2015.
If you’re looking forward to playing the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition on the Nintendo Switch 2, it won’t be available until 2026.
We don’t have an exact date for the Switch 2 port as of yet, but we know it will be in 2026.
What to expect from the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition
According to Bethesda, the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition will come with the original game, all six official expansions, and more than 150 pieces of content created by the Creation Club.
Everything will be released together as a special collection to mark Fallout 4’s 10th anniversary.
If you’re curious, those extra features are known as Automatron, Far Harbor, Nuka-World, and the Workshop.
The Creation Club offers a variety of additions to the game, including new weapons, different types of Dogmeat companions – like huskies and Dalmatians – and improvements to gameplay with new quests and features.
The Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition introduces “Creations,” a feature letting you find, download, and play new content made by both professional and amateur creators.
Given the incredible popularity of Fallout 4 mods, especially ambitious projects like Fallout London, this new Creations system looks like a promising development. We’re eager to find out what content will be offered through it.
We’ll be watching the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition and how players react when it comes out on November 10th.
