Fallout star Walton Goggins gives update on season 2

Actor Walton Goggins is back to the post-apocalyptic world in the second season of the popular TV series based on the Fallout video game, and he’s giving us a sneak peek at the progress being made on the upcoming episodes.

At the debut of The White Lotus season 3, Goggins, who portrays the Ghoul, shared insights about his experience during filming for the science fiction series with Deadline.

He mentioned about Fallout season 2: “At present, we’re shooting it and we started in November. Personally, I found season 1 to be exceptional, and I must say I was quite satisfied with it.

This achievement far surpasses expectations; the writers’ collective work and the collaboration of artists involved in narrating this tale are truly exceptional. It promises to be a remarkable piece.

“I can’t wait for people to see it. We’re working really hard to make that happen.”

In the second season, Goggins will be accompanied by familiar faces such as Ella Purnell and Aaron Moten, who are set to reappear. Additionally, Macaulay Culkin is scheduled to make a recurring appearance on the program.

Previously, co-creator Graham Wagner shared that the production team aimed to minimize the time difference between the premiere of Season 1 (released in April 2024) and Season 2.

He shared with Collider: “Once we finished Season 1, we began working on Season 2, hoping there would be interest from Amazon. Additionally, our goal was to shorten the time gap between seasons – as keeping viewers hanging for two years on a cliffhanger seems quite unusual.

As a captivated observer, I can’t help but admire the intriguing portrayal of Rick, skillfully brought to life by the talented Goggins, in the mesmerizing series The White Lotus. His character, entangled in an unconventional bond with the vivacious and carefree Chelsea, brilliantly played by Aimee Lou Wood, is a compelling narrative twist that keeps me hooked episode after episode.
