Viewers are still flocking to watch on Prime Video. The show remains at the top of the streaming charts in the U.S. several weeks after its second season ended.
Currently, Fallout is the most popular show on Prime Video in the U.S., taking the top spot from another series. This is a bit unexpected considering Fallout finished its first season roughly a week before the new season of Cross became available.
Prime Video’s Fallout series has been incredibly popular, receiving high ratings on Rotten Tomatoes. Because of this success, Prime Video quickly renewed the show for a second season, even before the first season finished airing. Recently, Prime Video also announced plans to create another Fallout series, expanding the franchise further.
Season 2 of Fallout takes place in the ruins of Las Vegas, Nevada, and the surrounding desert – the same location featured in the video game Fallout: New Vegas. This required some changes, and potentially sacrifices, to the game’s established lore.
Fallout Continues to Dominate on Prime Video
Prime Video is strengthening its relationship with Bethesda Game Studios, the creators of Fallout, to make the new Fallout TV series officially part of the game’s storyline. As Prime Video develops the show’s scripts, Bethesda is actively involved.
Todd Howard, director at Bethesda Game Studios and executive producer of the Fallout TV series, recently shared that they are currently writing Season 3 of the show. They’re also discussing how to integrate elements from the show into future Fallout games in a way that feels natural and authentic when the time comes.
I’m so excited! Walton Goggins is actually voicing the Ghoul in some new Fallout game content, which is awesome. It’s all happening before Season 2 of the show even comes out, and it’s building so much hype!
I don’t really rely on physical acting, to be honest. I’ve done a lot of voice work, and I had to figure out how to make it believable. I can’t fake emotions – I have to actually feel them, and I guess that comes through in my body without me even realizing it. But when someone asks for emotion in just my voice, I have to connect with it physically to make it real.
You can now watch Fallout on Prime Video. While the show has been renewed for a third season, Prime Video hasn’t announced when production will begin or when we can expect to see it.
