The two characters share a psychedelic experience, and executive producer Richard Appel hints they’ll finally discuss questions fans have always had.
According to Appel, the episode delves into the topics fans have always wanted to see Stewie and Brian discuss – their shared history, Stewie’s long-held desire to eliminate Brian, and each of their feelings about the other. It also explores their differing perspectives on life and any hidden common ground, despite the fact that their characters rarely communicate. Appel described the final act as essentially a play between just these two characters, which aligns with earlier hints about the episode’s focus.
Family Guy 2026 Schedule Gets Major Change
Fox is making a big change to how Family Guy airs when it returns. After the premiere, the show will air two episodes every Sunday. Family Guy will start the ‘Animation Domination’ block at 8:00 PM Eastern, followed by new episodes of American Dad! and Universal Basic Guys. Another episode of Family Guy will then air at 9:30 PM Eastern, completing the block.
