What the deuce? The answer is more Stewie Griffin.
Fox has announced that Stewie Griffin, the popular character from Family Guy, will star in his own spinoff show, simply titled Stewie. The show is scheduled to debut during the 2027–2028 television season, and Fox has already renewed it for a second season. Fans are eager to find out what adventures await the mischievous toddler in his new series.
Stewie has to switch preschools after being expelled from his old one, and his new school isn’t great. He’s surrounded by unfamiliar kids and a very old turtle who thinks he knows everything. Everyone is unhappy at first, but Stewie quickly changes things by using his inventions to take the whole class on wild, imaginative journeys through space and time, making school an exciting adventure.
Seth MacFarlane, the creator and voice of Stewie on Family Guy, will star in and executive produce the new spinoff.
Seth, age 52, expressed his gratitude to Fox for the chance to work on the show. He then playfully added that he looks forward to appearing as though he’s working closely with them on it.

Since it first aired in 1999, Family Guy has become a major part of popular culture. The show, which centers on the Griffin family – parents Lois and Brian, their children Meg, Chris, and Stewie, and their dog Brian – has run for an impressive 24 seasons and over 450 episodes.
Besides Seth, the animated show—which has been on TV for a very long time—also stars the voices of Alex Borstein, Mila Kunis, and Seth Green, along with many other talented actors.
Even though Stewie is getting his own show, Seth MacFarlane isn’t planning to end the adventures of the Griffin family anytime soon.
The TV star recently told the Los Angeles Times that they used to think it would be best to end the show while it was still popular. Now, however, they see no reason to stop. As long as viewers continue to enjoy the show and ratings remain strong, they’re happy to keep going. They explained that they’d only consider ending it if the audience lost interest, but that hasn’t happened yet.
Actually, things are going really well, and the news about Stewie is further proof of that. However, fans will need to be patient until the Family Guy spin-off officially premieres on Fox and becomes available to stream on Hulu and Disney+ the next day.
In the meantime, see what other shows will be premiering on television in 2026…

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always looking for stories that really resonate, and Taylor Sheridan’s The Madison is one of them. It’s his most personal project yet – a beautiful, moving love story wrapped up in a family drama about overcoming challenges and growing. What I found particularly compelling is how the story unfolds in two very different settings: the stunning scenery of Montana and the fast-paced life of Manhattan. It really explores what truly connects families, and how those bonds hold strong even through life’s changes.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always fascinated by how workplaces evolve, and the new documentary-style comedy, Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat, is a really interesting look at that. It follows Anthony, a new temp worker, at what he thinks is a standard company retreat for a family-run hot sauce business. What he doesn’t realize is everything is fake – all his colleagues are actors, and the whole experience is carefully planned! It’s hilarious to watch him navigate this staged environment, especially as the founder’s retirement looms and a power struggle between corporate growth and the company’s original values begins to unfold. It’s a really clever and funny exploration of what happens when big business tries to take over a small, family-owned operation.

I still remember when I first heard about Lamar Odom being found unconscious at that…place, the Love Ranch outside Vegas. It was awful. But this documentary…it’s not just about that night. It finally shows everything that led up to it – the stuff nobody really knew. It’s heartbreaking, honestly. They’re sharing things Lamar himself has never talked about before, and Khloé Kardashian is opening up too. Plus, they even interviewed the manager of the Love Ranch! It all comes together to explain how things spiraled so out of control and how close we almost lost him that night. It’s a really raw and honest look at everything he went through.
