Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman recently made news when reports surfaced that they had separated and were divorcing. Sources close to the couple say they had been working on their relationship throughout their 19 years of marriage. Now, as people speculate about why they split, an old interview with Urban’s former wife, Laura Sigler, is gaining attention. In that interview, Sigler claimed that Urban was unfaithful during their marriage.
Just before Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman’s wedding in June 2006, The Mail (through The Sydney Morning Herald) published an interview with Keith’s former veterinary technician, Laura Sigler. In the interview, she talked about alleged brief relationships he had while they were together.
Look, Keith is undeniably charming – a real looker, and when he wants to, he can be incredibly persuasive. But honestly? Throughout our relationship, it became clear he wasn’t looking for anything serious. There were a lot of short-term connections, and I’m starting to think he just isn’t the settling-down type. It’s a pattern, and I don’t see it changing.
Currently, there’s no proof to support these accusations of cheating, so it’s best not to believe them without further evidence.

One Thing Nicole Kidman Was Allegedly ‘Dreading’ About Her Split From Keith Urban
I’ve been seeing a lot of chatter since Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban separated, and everyone’s trying to figure out if there were clues we all missed. I noticed people pointing to an interview Keith Urban did with Ryan Seacrest – he seemed unusually quiet when Ryan brought up Nicole. And then there are Nicole’s comments about not being eager to work with Keith on a TV project, which some are interpreting as a sign of trouble. It’s just sad to look back and try to piece things together.
When news of Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman’s separation surfaced, rumors began circulating that Keith was having an affair with his guitarist, Maggie Baugh. However, Maggie’s father quickly dismissed these rumors in a now-deleted Facebook post, simply stating, “No, just no.”
Laura Sigler didn’t just talk about alleged affairs involving her ex; she also told The Mail about the Grammy-winning artist’s history with drug use, which he dealt with in the late 1990s. She suggested this past struggle with substance abuse might explain some of his relationship patterns with women.
He often mentions wanting a family, but he struggles with some serious issues. He has a history of alcohol and drug abuse, and tends to be driven by his cravings – always wanting more. I worry he won’t be able to truly satisfy anyone in a long-term relationship.
The award-winning musician has been sober since finishing rehab in 2007. However, his history with drug use was rumored to have been a factor in his divorce from Nicole Kidman. Reports also suggested a clause in their prenuptial agreement would have required Kidman to pay Urban $600,000 per year if he remained sober throughout their marriage.
However, E! News reports that the official support agreement doesn’t mention Adele receiving a large sum of money. This suggests that even if their prenup is valid, the former couple isn’t actually following it.
Since the news broke about Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman’s divorce, Laura Sigler hasn’t said anything more. It’s unclear if she will comment at all. With rumors continuing about their relationship, only time will tell if Kidman, Urban, and their family can resolve things privately, as they wish.
