As a captivated cinema-goer, I must say that Ralph Ineson, the talented actor who stepped into the formidable role of the cosmic entity Galactus in The Fantastic Four: First Steps, truly sent shivers down my spine when a chilling set photo surfaced. This thrilling cinematic adventure marked its premiere on July 25, 2025, and not only did it breathe life into the beloved team of superheroes known as The Fantastic Four, but also seamlessly integrated the ominous presence of Galactus into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

An image making its rounds online features Ineson donning the Galactus costume, appearing imposing and menacing. In the film, Galactus emerges as the main adversary, intent on consuming Earth.
Apart from his roles in Harry Potter films, The Witch (2015), and The Green Knight (2021), Ineson is recognized for portraying Galactus in a recent interview with GQ. During the July conversation, he shared his feelings watching himself on screen for the first time as Galactus. “I was truly amazed by it,” Ineson reminisced, “as I had hoped and anticipated, given the caliber of the team I was working with. I expected them to deliver, and they certainly did. When I first saw the character, its scale was quite a spectacle. The way they filmed me and enlarged it was nothing short of remarkable.
In 1966, the renowned duo Stan Lee and Jack Kirby introduced Galactus in issue 48 of Fantastic Four comic books. Ever since, this significant character has been deeply embedded within the Marvel Comics universe and storyline.
As First Steps nears its conclusion, the protagonists engage in battle with Galactus. In the end, Shalla-Bal, also known as the Silver Surfer, shoves Galactus through a gateway, propelling them both towards remote celestial bodies, well beyond Earth.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in July 2025, Ineson shared his hope of replaying the character. “There’s still a lot to delve into with the mythos, and he is a significant figure across the entire cosmos,” the actor stated. “However, I wouldn’t be the one to know if they will resurrect Galactus again. That’s something for Kevin [Feige] and the higher-ups to decide, but of course, I’d jump at the chance to return and portray more of Galactus.
